When it comes to our careers/vocations, being intentional about personal and collective growth is a major key to success.

Since the pandemic and resulting socio-cultural shifts, there has been an increased focus on prioritizing mental wellness in our work environments. This shift includes recognition that mental wellness in the work environment must go beyond access to mental health care and the occasional wellness seminars, and needs to include day-to-day cultural norms that promote wellness, de-stigmatize mental health and address issues related to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.

As a psychologist who has been researching, speaking and writing about issues related to race, cultural diversity, interculturality and mental wellness since 2009, I have the expertise and knowledge necessary to assist you with educating your teams and enhancing your work-place, ministerial and community cultures. In addition, I have several different seminars and webinars I offer to organizations and businesses, and I can customize talks for your conference or small-group needs.

I also specialize in providing consultation services to social service organizations who need assistance with restructuring program protocols and procedures to incorporate and reflect diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB), trauma-informed practices and mental wellness.

In addition to businesses and social service organizations, I have extensive experience consulting with clergy, religious leaders, vocations directors and religious formators regarding mental health questions/concerns. I provide seminars and webinars for conferences or smaller groups in a variety of topic areas specific to church communities and diocesan or religious life.
